Why is Glow offering grants?

Glow's mission is to democratise access to cutting-edge research tools. We aim to empower professionals, organisations, and learners worldwide to generate actionable insights. By allocating credit grants through diverse partner ecosystems, we fuel innovation and sustainability progress across industries and communities.

 

Who is eligible?
Grants are open to businesses operating within the specified community and market, as outlined on the grant application page, and are issued on a first-come, first-served basis, up to the allocated number of grants.  If you do not meet the grant criteria, you may still apply; however, priority will be given to applicants who meet the criteria. As such, the allocation of a grant and any support from Glow's onboarding and insight teams will be at Glow’s sole discretion.
What is a credit package?

A credit package is an amount of hosting credits - the currency you use to run surveys on Glow. 1 credit enables you to capture 1 response (completed survey). For example, a survey with 200 respondents would use 200 credits. Learn more about hosting credits here


Credit packages are allocated in amounts of 1k, 3k, 5k, 10k, and 20k, based on the applicant's intended usage over the next six months. 

How do the credits get activated?

Once approved, you’ll be notified of your credit allocation and provided with instructions on how to activate your credits within your Glow account. 

Once activated, you’ll see your grant credit balance on the home page of your account.

 

How many credits do I need?

That depends on how many online surveys you expect to run using Glow during the next six months.

For example, 5 x n=400 response surveys would require 2,000 credits. To cover this requirement, a 3k credit package would be the best fit. 

If you are not using the credits you are allocated, Glow reserves the right to reduce or cancel the grant.

How many credits will I get?

If you meet the eligibility criteria, we’ll try to give you the amount of credits you ask for.

Are there any other costs?

The grant provides full survey software access for unlimited users along with a credit package that covers the cost of software up to a specified number of responses.

The grant and associated credit package DO NOT cover panel costs or Glow services.  

 

DIY Panel Costs:

If you want to run the survey yourself but capture responses via our integrated panel, you can get a cost estimate for the panel data here.

 

Services:

If you need help with your survey, Glow’s team of research experts is on hand to support with survey checks, scripting, fieldwork management, sample sourcing, analysis setup, and more.

We’ll provide a quote for any service/s you require. Simply book an intro to discuss or request support when logged into the platform.

Why is the time period ‘up to’ 6 months?

Credit packages are valid for use for 6 months from the date of activation, subject to providing feedback to Glow at the 3-month mark.

Feedback means completing a short survey and attending a 15-minute feedback meeting.

If you do not provide feedback when requested, Glow reserves the right to cancel the grant and remove any remaining grant credits from your account.  

I’m already a Glow customer. Can I apply?

Yes you can. Holders of an existing Glow account can apply per the normal process, but the application will need to be submitted by the Glow account owner.

How many times can I apply?

One application per business (unit). A business with multiple independent operating units can apply once for each stand-alone operating unit. 

What type of surveys can I run?

The Glow platform can be used for MX, CX or HX surveys, but is purpose-built for quick-turn market research. Common use cases include consumer profiling, concept testing, creative assessment, brand health checks and much more. Here are some common uses.

In what markets can I run surveys?

You can use Glow’s software to run surveys in any market. 

Glow offers an in-built translation tool that can convert survey drafts into over 30 languages within seconds. Glow can also provide access to specialist translation services. We make it easy to gather feedback from respondents in their preferred language, ensuring inclusivity and accuracy in your research.

Our integrated DIY panel enables you to access over 110m consumers in more than 67 markets.
