Source: SRS data Australia, May 2022, n=4,033 responses, nationally representative sample.
The above data highlights the top 10 brands in May according to consumers from an assessment of over 200 brands across more than 7 categories.
Respondents are asked to provide their perspective on how socially and environmentally responsible they think brands are using a bipolar scale. They are only asked about brands they are familiar with and a 'don't know' option is provided to ensure opinions are considered and strongly held.
The data is collected on a rolling monthly basis and more brands are being added all the time.
It won't come as a surprise to learn that different demographic and user groups have different opinions about how socially and environmentally responsible brands are.
You can investigate differences by product usage, age, gender, location and more using March/April data via our interactive data dashboard.

Identify how your brand (or your competitors) are perceived. Understand which of the 13 drivers are most critical to your business. Interrogate whether your customers understand your current ESG approach. SRS can provide insight in all of these areas and more.

SRS has been developed using Glow’s research technology and proprietary methodology over the last two years.
The metric has been shown to have a significant relationship with brand trust, willingness to pay a premium price and brand revenue growth.
Underpinning the metric are 13 drivers which enable brands to identify opportunities and compare performance across industry and brands.
With several hundred brands under measurement already and more added every month, you’ll be able to access comprehensive benchmarking data on not only your own business, but competitors as well.
They look at more than the quality and price of the product or service you provide – they’re looking at your impact on the planet, how staff and suppliers are treated, whether your business supports its community and if it is a good corporate citizen.
According to recent research*, two out of three consumers actively take these concerns into account when looking to buy. But previously, businesses weren’t able to easily discover what people really think of their performance in this area.
We knew this data was vital, so we created the Social Responsibility Score (SRS) to make it easy for businesses to understand the consumer view of their social and environmental behaviour.
With your SRS, you can see how your brand is viewed by customers and prospects, how it performs against industry benchmarks and competitors, and how you can improve it to get more impact from your ESG investments.
